Since 1994, as a real precursor of the European regulations published in 2002, the Walloon region decided to implement an acoustic cadastre of its road and motorway network. Up to now, 450 sites have been studied, and we have created a specific process so that they can be automatically followed-up by the Administration. To succeed in this assignment, we have made use of our software MAP-3D® and we have created a specific methodology to classify the relevant sites.
